What is the BB workout?

The BhangraBlaze workout is exactly that, a workout 1st based on calorie blazing bhangra moves. Bhangra is a very popular danceform from India. By keeping the moves repetetive, varying the pace, including upbeat motivating music the BB workout is simple to pick up and extremely effective for calorie burning.

What should I expect at a BB class?

A group of very friendly people and a whole lot of fun. But most of all a workout that you will easily pick up and as you improve you will enjoy more and more. You will not need to worry about whether you can dance or not as it is not a dance class. The routines are very simple to follow.

What are the benefits of BB?

An amazing feel good factor that will leave you smiling. Your co ordination will improve as the weeks go on. An all over body toning effect as you will be using core muscle work with the majority of the workout. As you exercise more an overal sense of wellbeing will be felt too.

Do I need to be of a certain fitness level to participate in a BB class?

Absolutely not. Whether you are a total novice or hardened fitness fan, BB will work for you. The reason for this is that the routine is so well put together that a new starter can take their time and pace their intensity to their comfort level whereas someone with higher fitness levels will be able to increase their intensity and push to and beyond their limits.

What do I need to wear or bring to a BB class?

Any normal fitness clothing. T shirt and tracksuits are fine. Comfortable training footwear. Also bring water and a towel as you will find both valuable during the routine.

Can I participate in a BB class if I have an injury or medical condition?

Depending on your injury or condition will depend on whether it’s advisable. Always speak to the instructor and explain your situation. If there is any doubt then we will suggest you speak to your doctor first.

Do I need to know how to dance to do BB?

The best thing about BB is that you DO NOT need to know how to dance as it is not a dance class. It is primarily a fitness routine but using powerful calorie burning moves from bhangra. The moves are fun and easy to pick up. Before long your co ordination will improve. If you have 2 left feet then soon you will have one right and one left and be able express yourself confidently.

How is BB different?

BB is like no other class in the sense that it has been developed by Kirit Thakore who has over 15 years of fitness experience and zero experience of dance. But by putting the fitness side purely 1st the routine has way more of a workout philosophy than a dance one.

Do I have to have any qualifications or be a dancer?

As this is a fitness workout a level 2 gym instructor is ideal (but not necessary) but all aspects of group instruction and techniques will be taught.

Can I still teach other dance or fitness classes?

Absolutely. It’s always good to give clients a variety.

What should I bring to training?

2 pairs of exercise clothing. Water and towel. Pen and paper.

Can I cancel or postpone training?

Training can be cancelled with 30 days notice and postponed dependant on availability

Will I get ongoing support?

Yes.... Kirit has successfully build fitness classes not just with BB but with a variety of fitness classes including boxSASise, insanity etc. He will be at hand to give you advice and support. Also you will have your very own BB website and links to the BB facebook page.

Will my website have only my details on it?

Yes, the site will have details of your classes and any other information that you may wish to add such as videos or images relating to BB.

Do you take a cut of the fees I collect from my members?

No

What do I get from my monthly membership?

You will recieve your personal website to help promote your classes. Regular updates and corrospondence. Links to the BB facebook page and any other social media groups.
